Mr. Swenson's primary areas of practice include:
Mr. Swenson brings over 30 years of practical experience working with estate and business clients throughout the intermountain West, including Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. His success is predicated on his philosophy of clearly identifying the needs of each client and then focusing on accomplishing those needs.
For example, after determining a business client's objective, he examines a business client's estate (personal and business) and then provides creative and innovative strategies that coordinate the business and personal estate planning to achieve that unified objective.
Mr. Swenson's experience includes working with clients with varied and diverse backgrounds, including wholesale businesses, construction businesses, transportation industries, and ranches. His estate and business planning varies with each client's needs, but can include charitable giving, gifting to family members, generation-skipping transfers, and business continuation strategies.
Mr. Swenson grew up in a small Utah town and worked the family farm and at a steel mill before going to college and law school. He has made Salt Lake City his home.
